Kogarah RSL Closing Party was a great success with over 300 people in attendance. The Club hosted current and previous members, community groups and people who had been involved in some way with the club over its time. The day was a celebration of the clubs place in the community, and there were some amazing stories captured during the day and showcased in the memorabilia that was housed around the room.
Club members will move over to Bexley RSL from next week, as the club officially closes its doors in preparation for regeneration later in the Year. Guests of the event included a few of our Veridian purchasers, who were keen to come down and celebrate the future of their new neighbourhood.
Capital Bluestone and Kogarah RSL are joint venture partners in the Veridian development project at Kogarah. The development will be a rejuvenation of Kogarah RSL and bring new life to the area.
As the construction of Veridian Kogarah begins, the current RSL Club is closing so early works on site can commence.
The redevelopment of the Club will see it transformed into a brand new club with a range of opportunities for the local community to utilise the Club and amenities including a rooftop cinema and BBQ area with a lush landscaped podium.
Capital Bluestone acknowledges that Clubs play an important role in the local community and our partnership with Kogarah RSL focuses on the integration and connection of the Club into the community.
